We offer group and one-to-one window tint training to get you set up and ready to start your window tinting career! We currently have the following courses available:

The Tint Academy is endorsed by WT Window Films and Window-Tint - we work alongside these two organisations to provide high level training. The course doesn’t end at the end of the day, we are available for support and advice over the phone. We will provide you with the necessary tools and practise film to take home with you. Our staff have been in the window tinting industry for a combined 40+ years, amassing a vast amount of experience and knowledge which is at your disposal while attending one of our courses.

I already know some basics, what’s the best course for me?
We could recommend attending our 3 day group training course, where you will be shown how to prepare, template, clean and install roll down windows. You will also be shown how to prepare, heat shrink and install a rear boot window.
If there is a particular area of window tinting that you are having trouble with or want more knowledge on, we can run a tailor-made course around this.
We believe that from this course you will be able to tint vehicles successfully, however, this is all dependant on your dedication to put the time in and practise your new craft. -
How many people are on the course?
Our 3-day group courses can have up to 4 trainees on the course at a time. We limit the number of trainees on these courses to allow everyone to have hands on time; learning how the film behaves and how to manipulate it.
Our Three-Day and Four-Day individual courses are 1-to-1, allowing for intensive learning for the trainee. We strongly recommend that if you are wanting to invest in setting up a window tinting business or adding window tinting to an existing business, to attend our 1-to-1 course. Do I need to buy any materials in advance?
In short, no. We supply the material and tools for the course. You will leave with some complimentary tools and material to practise and hone your skills.

What safety gear do I need?
As you will be working on vehicles, we advise no bulky belts, dangling jewellery or rings. You will also need comfortable and sensible shoes as you will be standing through periods of the day. Please no crocs or flip flops as throughout the course you will be using knives and heat guns.

What days are the courses available?
Our courses run weekly Tuesday to Friday – from 09:30 to 16:00.
